Okay, so maybe 593 is a bit of an exaggeration. But I’m happy to report that I was able to mark one of the projects off of my “to do” list this weekend. On Saturday, I headed south for a few hours, and finished up the Ikea KLOBO loveseat slipcover for Bailey’s bedroom.

We LOVE birthday parties at Bondville and were lucky enough to attend a simply lovely party on Sunday for our friend Lola’s 3rd birthday. It was such a gorgeous day at the park and all the kids went ga-ga over the amazing rainbow cake that Lola’s Mum and Dad made together (Mum made the cake, Dad did the icing).

If red meat is disqualified from your diet for its cholesterol issues then the dark colored hearty seafood such as Tuna or salmon is next best alternative,the benefits are commendable. Ahi tuna or Yellow fin Tuna from Hawaiian sea waters is best for grilling,baking and also in salads.Tuna tastes best when cooked rare(with pretty pink center) but if eating raw fish concerns you,please do cook the fish thoroughly but beware overcooking tuna can make it tough to chew. Grilled tuna over bed of filling bulgur pilaf and sauteed juicy mushrooms,a sure comfort food for a seafood lover.

Lindsay Lohan was spotted last night at Ana De Costa’s jewelry show in Los Angeles looking fresh-faced and ready to consume – far from the frightened soon-to-be sentenced drama queen we might have expected. The jewelry show featured D-listers Brittny and Lisa Gastineau’s new jewelry line, ‘Tres Glam’ which features their signature ‘eye’ theme – a power symbol known to ‘ward off danger’ according to the mother-daughter duo.

My new flooring is no longer contained to the guest bedroom/office. It has now spread up the hallway to the front door, into about half of the family room, all of the eating area (except for the border edges), and into the kitchen. I still have to grout, but even without grout, it looks about 1000% better than the painted concrete.

Sapphires aren’t just the blingy blue bauble often likened to the color of Elizabeth Taylor’s eyes – they’re crazy chameleons that wear a coat of many colors. While deep blue is certainly what most of us think of when it comes September’s birthstone , the gem also comes in a rainbow of hues – from pink and green to yellow and red (also known as – a ruby !) Toshiba has announced that several of its premium laptops will have WiMax-ready chips built-in. What’s interesting is the WiMax chips are based on Intel’s Kilmer Peak, a PCI-e adapter that was supposed to launch in 2011 with Intel’s next-generation platform, codenamed Huron River

India has launched stock trading on mobile phones, hoping to capitalise on the country’s position as the world’s fastest-growing handset market by catering to tech-savvy investors. Asia’s oldest stock market, the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), started trading in shares on mobile phones on Tuesday while the rival National Stock Exchange (NSE) plans to launch a similar service early next month. Trading on mobile phones is picking up globally, particularly in Asia, where equity markets are on the rebound from the global financial meltdown of 2008.
