Raspberry Tofu Dark Chocolate Ice Cream Cake

Tofu does not get any applause in my family.So I have to think of sneaking in this wonder protein in the most unsuspecting places.Like in the ice cream ,the silken tofu married so well with the intense berry flavor,leaving the picky eaters totally clueless about the disliked ingredient in it. The cake was specially made in jubilation of Nabeel’s seventh birth day.Yes,another healthfully blessed year.His asthma has shown significant improvement as he is growing.Watching the diet for low sugar ,low fat foods ,wholesome fruits,vegetables and grains immensely helped in improving his condition.My efforts to get him to eat the best aren’t always success,there are some foods he absolutely cannot stand, and tofu is one of those.But I can’t give up ,the ever pleasing seemed perfect to incorporate the healthy food.

10-foot cupcake tower sets world record

From World Records Academy , where you can also see a photo of this staggering cupcake creation (more news when we have it): Members of the Gulf High School Interact Club promoted the Relay for Life event at the school, benefiting the American Cancer Society, by raising a 10-foot-tall “cupcake pyramid” containing 13,476 cupcakes – setting the world record for the Largest Cupcake Tower. “It’s an amazing show of support from the community,” said David Leathers, a member of the New Port Richey Relay for Life entertainment committee

Healthy Pancakes – Is that really possible?

Chocolate cake, muffins and two birthdays in one week, here at the TreatHer office we’ve been slightly over-indulging during the Valentine’s Day rush. (We did manage to nibble on a few carrots on Friday, if that’s any consolation.) Ok so it has nothing to do with gifts but it’s a new week and a new healthy start for us – she says munching on a banana. So we were wondering if it’s possible to resist temptation on Pancake Day

Remember, when its comes to cooking with Kale ,it is as versatile as spinach.Its not bitter,mild tasting and if you can cook with spinach, then why not with kale,unless its unavailable.The recipes posted should give you the confidence to make the move for the good. Kale’s fixed in this recipe with good old pancakes from the land of spices,other wise known as Dosa.Not everyday,but at least once every weekend we feast on dosa.And trying a new medley each week,by mixing and matching the proportion of lentils,greens,herbs and grains,is exciting for me and nourishing for a family meal.

Purely Chocolate Almond Meringue Cake with Dark chocolate Filling

For a toddler turning three,the pure chocolate cake was perfect to celebrate the special day and also accomplishing to his mom ,who shares the same chocolate passion. His adventures seem to have gotten even more advanced since he was two .Jumping on the bed,fetching his favorite food from the refrigerator or kitchen counter,sliding down the stairs,wrestling with his big brother,examining all the closets and drawers,gladly after all that exploring, running and jumping around the house,he does settle for quite time reading and imaginative play. Considering his liking for an equally adventurous species in one his favorite books “Five little monkeys Jumping on the bed”,I guess he got the most appropriate gift for this special day,the five little monkeys board game,and thankfully the imaginative toy kept him busy for most part of his special day

I cannot get enough of Layla, the best cupcakin’ dog ever, and now I am smitten with Layla ‘s momma ‘s cupcaking. How psychedelic! Groovy!
